FSEXPO 2024 Vlog Part1
Hello, everyone. This year, my wingman, brother Marcus, and I took a trip to the FSEXPO event in Las Vegas to meet my US patrons. We travelled to the western side of the USA for a week before and after the event. Here's a recap of what we did.

Jonathon's 737 Throttle Rebuild 1
Переглядів 6 тис.3 місяці тому
It has been almost three months since I last uploaded a video on UA-cam. In today's video, we will unbox a parcel sent by Jonathon, possibly sent before Christmas. Due to various reasons, we weren't able to take a look inside until now. Initially, the plan was to repair Jonathon's 737's throttle, but it seems to have turned into a complete teardown and rebuild project. We are trying out new tec...

In this video, you will witness the first part of the two-part Motorised 737 Throttle teardowns. The Pro version from FSC is the unit being showcased, which is an outstanding piece of engineering and electronics. Our goal is to restore both throttles to their working condition, as they are required for a commercial sim centre located in the UK. Have you ever wondered how all the workings are ac...

Workshop Renovation during the cold winter

This video was created over the winter of 2022. I didn't realise I hadn't realised it. Which is good, because im still editing the next video in the 737SS build. This video is all about the workshop, and myself as a single person in a shed creating content for 737DIYSIM. All was fantastic in the summer, but when winter came, temperature dropped and the equipment suffered. This was my solution. ...
737 Master Caution, Fire Warning & Stab out of Trim Annunciators
Переглядів 6 тис.Рік тому
After years of revisions, I have finally created this design. I could only replicate the parts closely once I received real annunciators. Please remember that these are smaller than the original 737 dual-seat annunciators and were specifically designed for use in the 737SS. However, you can still use or customise them in your simulator to suit your requirements. The lenses are the exact dimensi...

You have the best I have seen so far! I just bought a Mooney 201 and am having a complete Garmin suite put in. It includes Garmin G3x, GTN 750, dual G-5s, and GFC 500 autopilot. I am going to build a full simulator for it. I am sure that your channel will help me do that. For the price of Real Sim products I am sure that I can buy the 3d printer and whatever else I need and end up with the tools for other projects. I have seen some information on using old iPads for touch screens. Hopefully, more tutorials will come out on this.

Greetings to you Karl and I always wish you and your family a lot of luck. Enjoy yourselves and greetings from the south of Italy! PS: in summer? we have often 30 degrees at night and 80% humidity ;)

from @29:47 the top right display's digits are the wrong way around eg shows 10 instead of 01. Even more noticable from @30:19 where it shows 70 instead of 07 (only 60 minutes in an hour :) )

The break test after soldering is also very dependant on the soldering job because of how the solder creeps into the wire. How easy the solder creeps into a wire is dependent on a lot of factors. E.g. how fast you solder, how much heat you use, what kind of solder and or flux and even the number the number of conductors in a wire.

Hello Karl, Bravo and thank you for your videos, I managed to eliminate almost all use of the mouse on the simulation (encoder buttons, LCD, etc.), so cool! However, I have a problem that I can't solve: I want to display the Radio COM frequency on a 7-segment LED but not when starting FSX, only when the battery is activated. How can I make an Output only appear if another Output has a certain value ? In my case therefore, display the Ouput COM only if the Output BAT = 1 ! I tried in the precondition tab but it doesn't work. Thank you in advance for your help. Looking forward to reading you and instructing me or clarifying if my question is not clear... Best regards Serge from France

Fantastic tear down! It's easy to see why they cost so much. The amount of engineering and complexity is significant. I tore down my older RevSim TQ (i.e. CockpitForYou) and completely rebuilt it from almost the ground up. When I had it all apart I remember thinking "Oh man, what have I done?!" It's overwhelming, but bit by bit I brought it back to life. Like you, I'm fascinated by the different ingenuity used solve the same complex problems. Love the work you do and appreciate your contributions to the community!

Great video, enjoy the FSExpo. Definitely more fusion stuff. I find following some fusion360 guides on youtube difficult as they are often done on older versions and nothing is in the same place. I can do gears with spigots and that's all I need right for now basic throttles but so much more can be done. One aspect of 3D printing that makes me reluctant to progress is how slow the printing is. I only have an entry level ender 3v2 but had no idea how much faster the Bambu was.
